Dr. V.S. Vijayan is a pioneering Indian ecologist, ornithologist, and environmental policy reformer. A student of Dr. Salim Ali, he has spent over four decades investigating wetland ecology, tropical forest conservation, and the ecological governance of the Western Ghats.
